He's rather be a HC than an OC. The guy is a control freak. He'd never get along with Leslie.

Thanks, Mike. Glad to see you posting with us.

We shall see. I don't think they fit philosophy or coaching wise. I think Leach could adapt and knows how to run an offense, but Les is not turning the offense over to him. Les will meddle enough to screw the whole thing up. I think Crowton is a scapegoat here.

I know I have seen on here where several people have heard Leach say on Sirius that he would be willing to be an OC in the right situation.
I think Les would be willing to at least meet Leach somewhere in the middle on what the offensive philosophy would be at LSU.

That just makes common sense right?
I guess that's asking too much of most people on this site.

There is not a program in the country that will hire Leach as the head man after he locked that kid in a tool shed. That would be a law suit waiting to happen.

You weren't there were you? I can never remember, is this libel or slander?

Is it THAT far fetched of an idea that a HC and an OC can't get along and almost be like a team?
no, but key word here is almost. at the end of the day, he'd be Les' subordinate. there are gonna be some things that he's just gonna have to answer to Les on. maybe not play to play in game playcalling, but I'd imagine Les would still have final say on some gameplanning, personnel/ recruiting stuff and in game decisions.
I think the whole Les meddling thing is probably somewhat overblown, but you're almost making it sound like they'd be co-HC's.
that said, I'd love the guy if he wants to come. but if he doesn't jump at the gig because he thinks he can get another HC job, it's understandable.
