Jimbo was offered a substantial offer

Jimbo and Sexton countered (rumored to have asked for 10 years, 7.5 million) LSU said frick that

LSU started talks with Herman

LSU offered and supposedly Herman has given LSU a soft verbal, but is waiting for Texas to make a decision on keeping Strong or not.

Either Texas boosters leaked this to force the AD's hand

or

Herman's agent leaked it to see if anyone can counter LSU's offer.

So now we're waiting for Houston and Texas's seasons to end.

You non-Bama alum, non-degreed, sidewalk toothless inbreds are scared shitless of LSU. Just admit it.

1. Alleva is a retarded failure that has run LSU athletics into the ground

2. Alleva was perhaps less retarded than we thought

3. Alleva cucked by Texas

4. Alleva fixing to hire O

5. Alleva more retarded than ever

LSU talked to Jimbo but he wanted a 10 year deal and LSU passed
LSU interviewed and offered Herman
O apparently knocked his exit interview out the park.

10 years is a ridiculous demand on Fisher's part, IMHO.

Not really. He's basically saying "I'm happy where I am, but if you offer me the moon, I might take it". Nothing wrong with that.

This guy is going to end up destroying CFB, but I'd damn sure want him as my agent.

It appears to me that everyone is using LSU to leverage a better deal for themselves. Fisher at FSU and Herman at UH and Texas.

At this point, I'm okay with LSU never speaking to any coach that Sexton has as a client.

That's just clownish.

I was told LSU was an elite generational opening that every hc was lining up to interview for.

I'm not really sure he has any choice that's a better risk/reward than O right now, and that's terrible.

Worst case scenario is, O sucks and gets fired in a couple years, leaving a loaded roster for the next guy.

Yeah, not really sure what he's trying to get at with that comment.

I'll just chalk it up to his usual flaming pile of shite and move on with my day.

To everyone who answered what they thought, thanks .

I try to read the coaches changing board, but it gets hectic.

To the people who wonder why alabama cares, well next to AU you are our toughest game, and its interesting tbh.

Right now Herman is sitting in the catbird's seat with Texas and LSU in a bidding war. That's basically it in a nutshell.
