But you people can't have it both ways.

Jesus Christ.

Let's recap:

- 6-6 is average and the minimum Miles must achieve at Kansas, a program that has won only 6 game in the last 4 seasons, to be considered average results.

- Miles is "extremely" average, even though his career head coaching record is well above .500. You've come to this conclusion by saying the record doesn't actually matter and your eye test does.

Who's the one who wants it both ways here?

Miles has had success in this conference. He will definitely not bomb out.

Calling it as I see it. The good thing is we shall find out now that Miles has another job.
Why would it matter that Miles has another job? You've obviously made up your mind that he is average. This despite 15+ seasons at Okie State and LSU where he was above average both statistically and in comparison to the school's historical achievements.

Nevermind the fact that he's taking over a program that has 4 wins in the last 2 years, and 6 wins in the last 4 years.

And 23 wins in the last 10 years. But some of the idiots (looking at you cj2002) on the rant expect him to just show up and start winning 7 or 8 games (or more) a year.

If he doesn't, that will prove that he's a terrible head coach in their eyes.

Holy frick you sound bitter.

What did Miles do to you cj? Didn't he tip you enough the last time you waited his table? Did you work in valet parking somewhere and got less of a tip then your co-workers?

quote:

I don't want to hear any BS about Kanasa record. In 07 they were 12-1 and in 08 they were 8-5. It has been proven, it can be done.

And the 5 years before Mangino had those 12-1 and 8-5 records, Kansas was 25-35. With 7-5 being the best record and 2-10 being the worst.

In 2009, one year after the 8-5 year, Mangino and Kansas went 5-7, which was Manginos' last year there. Since the 2008 8-5 season (the last winning season for Kansas), Kansas has gone 23-97 in 10 years. And you expect Miles to show up and start winning 7, 8 9 games or more a year?

You're fricking delusional.

And your little temper tantrums make you look like a spoiled fricking 6 year old brat.

I see Kwahn Drake will be his DL coach.
GA at Tulane then DL coach.
Went to Memphis to coach DL after CJ was fired.
Moved to Colorado to coach DL last year.
Good young coach

I have to agree. Give miles a couple years and they will be inproved. He's going need a couple recruiting classes under his belt.

Wasn't Les Miles the first Oklahoma State coach to ever win in Norman?

Les hires Emmit Jones away from Texas Tech as WR coach. Don’t know him, but I’d imagine a WR coach that was at Tech for 3 years is pretty damn good at his job

Well...we got a receiver to transfer from Texas Tech and we thought a WR who was at Texas Tech for 3 years would be pretty damn good at his job, too. And we were wrong...
