Everybody laughed at LSU when Coach O was hired. Butch Jones now understands what it takes to win in the SEC. Go ahead and pull the trigger Arkansas.

If Tennessee fans could come to grips with the fact that they can't do better than Champions of life anymore he'd still be winning 8 meaningless games, which is better than they're doing now.

Not at all, Coach O’s is a native Louisianan that grew up always wanting to play and then coach at LSU. That is what helps him succeed in Louisiana.
Can Jones say that about Arky?

If the Rutgers & Schiano marriage fails to materialize, I think Butch Jones is my #1 alternative.
He knows the northeast, he's got head coaching experience, he's recruited at a very high level in the SEC and he's a competent offensive coach.
It didn't work out for Jones at Tennessee. Tennessee hadn't been ranked from 2008 - 2016, when Butch Jones got them into the top-25 twice.
IDK about Arkansas, though - that's a tough place to win games.
