@billvoth: Butch back?! RT @AndySlater: Source: Miami to consider Greg Schiano, Rob Chudzinski, and Butch Davis to replace Golden

I thought Davis received a show cause from the NCAA due to the UNC issues but apparently he's a candidate to replace Golden. I think Davis is the only hire Miami should make for a program on life support. I would love to see Miami get their swagger back and the NCAA fume while he goes to work

Well not life support but definently in need of resuscitation. Davis can recruit his arse off and breath life into the program

Butch would crush at the U, again. College football is better when Miami is strong, IMO

I still say Strong is PERFECT for Miami. But he's going to Texas.

Strong is perfect for UF IMO. Miami needs to get it swagger back and I don't get that lawless vibe from Strong

Miami is a pro town with bandwagon fans and shite facilities. It's not a good job anymore.

Davis was cleared in the UNC mess. He has no show cause.

So college football was the best it's ever been between 1983-2003?

I don't know about THE best, but that certainly was a top 3 era. Bama - U National title game was probably the best ever w/ possible exception of USC - UT in '05
