Coach O to be his recruiting coordinator and defensive line coach.

Since they have a working past from USC.

Kiffin is a huge gamble in my opinion. I think he's got the potential to be very successful, but a program like Tenn (along with LSU, Florida, Bama, Georgia and Auburn) should be able to hire a proven winner, of which Kiffin is certainly not.

One week before being named Raiders HC, Kiffin was turned down by the Minnesota Golden Gophers. This is a risky hire.

He would have to be defensive coordinator for him to leave the NFL.

Lsu needs Tenn to hire a good HC. As they are the East team Bama plays every year. Ala Lsu vs Florida

Kiffin not the lights out hire UT needed.

I would have taken Kelly over him easily. Kelly's skeletons really must be bad if he keeps getting passed up for good jobs.

FWIW, Hamilton has denied he has offered the job to anybody. Kelly denies interest.

Why not go after Schiano? I know he didn'T leave a few years ago, but he's proven he can be a winner.

PR move on the eve of Fulmer's last game in Neyland. Hambone probably isn't too happy Hyams leaked this out.

George Plaster is shocked by the way. He thinks Kiffin is a huge gamble.

He IS a huge gamble. His HC experience amounts to 20 games at Oakland. I would prefer Kelly.
