He says, I will not discuss it until after the Pitt game
( to determine the Big East champ).

That seems fair and realistic.

ND has had a top 10 recruiting class almost every year for the past 4 years. There is certainly a ND bump, but there's also a bama bump, a LSU bump, and a USC bump too so even with that taken into account they are among the most talented teams in the country.

Think about the other coaches in CFB who is better than Kelly? Paul Johnson has only been in a BCS conference as long as Kelly so he is an auto scratch. I honestly can't think of anyone else. Everyone else in the ACC is new/bad. Same for the SEC. Same for the PAC 10. Same for the Big XII.

The only name I can come up with is Kirk Ferentz.

Not once did I compare recruiting at ND vs. recruiting at Cinci. Concentrate on your comprehension a little harder when reading.

I couldn't give two shits less about where they finish in the top 10 in recruiting. Notre Dame can't compete on the field with the nation's elite, not matter how many times they are placed in BCS bowl games.

You simply can't be considered one of the most talented teams in the country and lose six games a year with their schedule.

See my previous statement about terrible hires for ND recently. Big boy was a huge gamble for them and they got burned.

You are over simplifying it. A big contract plus reduced admissions would lure at least four of those on that list, five counting Ferentz.

Regardless, I think Notre Dame has to make a few of those names say "No" before moving to Brian Kelly...and perhaps that has already happened.

The key really is the admission standards and the difference that makes in landing some of the elite athletes.

Oh wait, according to you Notre Dame is loaded with those guys, right?
