how many of you guys think:

he would be a good hire for a college team.

he is a good coach.

he can still coach at a high level.

The reason I ask is because he is only 56 and used to coach at Stanford. Could it be he could return if Harbaugh leaves? It might be a possibility. I'm just throwing it out there.

Interesting scenario.

At the end of the Saints vs. Bucs game yesterday, it certainly sounded like Billick was coming back to coaching somewhere.

The main announcer just kept commenting how it "was a pleasure to work with him" and "good luck next year in the coaching business". stuff like that

Billick kinda brushed it off, but it was clear that something is emminent.

i would be pissed to have him as my head coach pro or college. he would be an upgrade to crowton at LSU, but so would anyone else.

If adammwilson says he's the next in line to coach at Stanford, then I'm putting all my chips on it.

I know he was rumored to be involved in the coaching search at Washington a couple of years ago. From what I remember, people thought he was a prick and wouldn't get along with the boosters and wouldn't be a great recruiter.

seems bizarre. He always seems nice enough.

that's definitely a legitimate concern.

well, he was an alleged offesnive genius when he had culpepper and moss. he gets the ravens job and goes a decade of offensive futility. the only reason he won a super bowl was b/c of an all time defense.

just kinda reminds me of miles. an offensive guy completely incapable of running an offense. he wouldve worked 15 years ago. i think time has passed him by

exactly the way I felt about it. Although I will say they had ONE HELL of a Defensive staff in baltimore. (Marvin Lewis, Rex Ryan, Jack Del Rio, etc...)

I guess as long as he hires an elite OC.

He will make a great NFL coach again, but college is a different animal and he does not have the desire to recruit 24/7....more of a CEO type with similar ego to ego maniac NFL players.

IMO
