It may be more of a concern if Hoke coached all the games post Bama and won out. Now, even if he wins the next two, nobody will care.

O coached 9 games before his hire. Hoke gets two.

Is this considered apples-to-apples in Arkansas?

BTW, O vs Bielema, 38-10 and 33-10.

Arkansas makes O look like Lombardi. Your program is in great shape.

He wins out, especially with a win over LSU, I think Currie has to consider him.

If he knows how to BBQ Nashville style he's as good as in.

Tennessee was smart enough to fire their coach at the end of the season when the team was firmly entrenched at rock bottom and the interim would not have time to turn it around and win some games.

I saw Hoke's presser today. After Monday after Monday of non-answers interspersed with trite cliches, it was refreshing. Butch could have learned how to answer questions from Hoke.

Hoke's hoarse voice even sounded more coach like that Butch whine.

When Currie was at KState, he actively chased away Frank Martin so he could hire Bruce Weber. He ain't exactly a MENSA member.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Hoke get that job, after Frost and Patterson say no.
