Just delaying the inevitable, IMO. The open jobs this year weren't good enough, I guess.

Outside of Miami most of the jobs open this year really aren't that good. Maybe more will open up in the coming week or two but it's looking doubtful. If you can get the recruits then San Diego State is one of those jobs that has the potential to turn in to a TCU or Boise based off of location. I would say he is definitely wise to stay there for now.

I know he will end up leaving at some point but it has to be nice to coach at a place that has absolutely NO pressure to win.

Maybe he likes San Diego, maybe his wife LOVES San Diego, plus its low pressure situation.

SDSU is in a Tulane-like situation with QualComm Stadium. They really need an on-campus facility (that isn't 150 years old)
