So, the question is whether that accomplishment is going to get him a head job right now. I don't think so.
I don’t think he will get a head coaching job this offseason either, but his name is starting to get mentioned. The NFL is still trending towards younger, offensive minded head coaches. It’s going to happen soon for him.
You have your head buried in the sand. Joe Brady is not coming back to college anytime in the near future. Everyone keeps telling you this, but you keep ignoring it.

It’s no secret that Brady wasn’t enamored with the recruiting grind that’s a major part of college football. He did his job, and he did it well, but recruiting teenagers wasn’t something Brady wanted to do longterm.
The realities of recruiting hit Brady hard not long after he joined Coach O’s staff. He told The Athletic last year “I’m learning it (recruiting) never stops….I’m just looking forward to having a few days in a row in the same place”.
On Tuesday, The Athletic quoted a LSU staffer as saying that Brady “just didn’t enjoy the communication aspect and all the teenager shenanigans”. They also noted, however, that he didn’t slack on the recruiting aspect of the job. He did it, even though it wasn’t his favorite thing in the world.
Josh Heupel doesn't like the recruit. That is why Missouri sucked in recruiting class when he was there. UCF is much easier to recruit and not need to spend a lot of time doing it.

NEWSFLASH... Maybe one coach in a hundred likes to recruit... if that.

How soon is soon? If it's after 3 more years (which would make him THE youngest in the NFL), that's 3 years of a 7M salary he'd have lost. And there is a damn good argument that if he succeeds in college as a HC it will give him a better opportunity in the NFL.
I'm not guaranteeing that he'd take the job. But, I think if he was offered the head job right now, it would be VERY, VERY hard to pass on it.
You can probably count on 1 hand the number of people who would pass on a 5+M pay raise because they like their other job better. Honestly, if Brady even considers it, LSU's biggest problem will be outbidding for him vs. other college teams.

Carolina is in the lower half of the NFL in offense rankings (#20). Not sure who all these supposed NFL team are that will be beating the doors down to hire him.

All it takes is one team to look solely at what he did last season and they’ll take a chance. There’s a damn good chance he’ll be a head coach in 8 weeks.
