I could agree with you but then we’d both be wrong.

Did you see the game he called today? He is about to start seeing offers for NFL jobs.

College often pays better than the pros.

eta-Paul Chryst makes more than Matt LaFleur

I started wondering (maybe foolishly) that the "he hates to recruit" narrative was more probably more of "he hates recruiting under Orgeron".

But I doubt he comes back to college.

He would hire good help, hes a genius, and wouldn't be trying to get laid at a gas station.

He got interviews last year. Will be NFL HC in another year or two.

You lost me when you said Monken was on the list from your source. He hasn't done anything of record to be seriously considered.

He took a sorry arse south Mississippi team that had 1 win, losing record, came in and revamped the program in 2 years they make a bowl game. What do you think he will do with these type of players, talent at lsu.

Doubt he hires any help considering the oc us who he recommended which we would retain with his hand in the offense and saves lsu money

It would be a great gamble. He can keep Peetz and Mangus on staff to keep continuity. His defensive coordinator hire would have to be solid.

I have to watch every single gd Georgia football team and I don't think he's anything special. He has 4 amazing running backs and he hands it off to each for reps. He does have a back up walk on QB but even with Daniels the offense was still very vanilla and conservative.

He's like 10-23 as a head coach?

I appreciate his 2 years here as QB coach with Jamarcus but he is no means qualified to be the head coach at lsu.

Also to your comment about Brady. Love him - I live in Charlotte and the city loves him. He isn't coming back to college - he hates recruiting. He also isn't a long term answer. If he did accept and that's a huge IF he'd be gone immediately after a good season for an nfl HC job. Same with Bieniemy - that's not the long term solution we need especially with Ou and Texas joining.

He wasn't qualified to be an O.C. either...JS

I'd take him in a heartbeat!
