So haven't seen it discussed, but Brady told O way before the game and pretty sure before the MOA was signed. For fact he told O, Brady said that himself, but imo the MOA was just to quite the rumors down to concentrate on the game.

O was not caught off guard at all. Expect O to do due diligence here but Munoz would be who I expect

Robinson has already put out feelers...expect as discussed, Frank to be this replacement.

Would be surprised if Joseph came back, have no idea who the replacement would be here, but I would expect to start hearing names later today thru the weekend if these changes are going to happen before signing day. The convention ended yesterday afternoon. Also expect quite a few shadow staff adds.

Oh and we prolly getting absolutely gutted on juniors leaving unless once the high wears off they change their mind.

Exactly. Most should’ve realized this but it was a pretty emotional time.

Shelvin's brother on 247 said he's coming back. So at least there's that.

Having Shelvin, Ika, and Guillory in the middle (maybe Jackson) would be insane.

I think some did. You don't suddenly sign something like that when. It was well known before hand that they had been working on it for a long time. Also the out for the NFL was a huge give away.

The staff knew they were prolly getting 2 years max. Brady loved to evaluate prospects and rank the board etc, but he hated the constant interaction with recruits. 3-4 hours a day during peek times sucks for people who not in love with it.

Also Brady hated how he was so recognized and how famous he had become. Dellinger and others have tweeted about this. It was not a secret he figured out really quick he was pro guy.

Either you trust O to find the next guy or you dont.if I have everyone the choice before the season that we would have Brady for only one year and win a ship or you get 2-3 while going 11-1 or10-2, everyone would have chosen this past season.

Enjoy it and realize we will be fine, maybe not best of all time fine, but we will be fine.

Yea I expect shelving, Logan, Austin for sure back.

I hoping Vincent and Stevens come back and queen realizes he would possibly be top 15 pick with a big senior year. Not optimistic though.

If we only lose seniors on the OL and DL, we will be fine next year.

Not holding my breath though. Really, really could use Cushenberry for another year.

Also, I hope Devonta Lee sees the light and slides into that Jacoby Stevens role. He'd be perfect for it. That hybrid S/OLB roaming playmaker.

Lee is defense come spring. Family members posted that a while back. He played both ways in HS.

100% and i thank all of them for being honorable about it to, ironically, trick our team

i don't know why they'd come back, even though it's very true that our juniors staying last year (like Lawrence) really meant a lot for us this year. the problem is that we also have the evidence now that lawrence likely didn't help himself any by staying

if he gets a 2nd rd grade then he should probably go, that's basically a rd 1 grade for a center. Likely not much he can do to improve his stock

Yeah, for sure. I am just being selfish and want him back. He's the undisputed leader of that OL unit.

who is the likely replacement for Cush? Hines?

so it would be Thomas/Hines/Ingram inside? if Hines can do the calls that works inside

Did not know this

He's going to be an All-SEC level OLB/S type player I think. He carries his weight so damn well and is a top shelf athlete.

Yeah and that is a solid 3 man core. Really solid.

Cush is just such a big time leader in the locker room. Hate seeing those guys go.

Yep, essentially players were caught off guard by their reaction last night. Honestly how it was handled was perfect and a future selling point to future staff members.

I don't think people understood how much Brady hated the constant interaction with recruits and all the game this season brought him. He wasn't comfortable in the spot light like that.

I remember many posters writing that Brady had signed a $1.8 million per year contract several weeks ago.

i do now

i have avoided the "if I were Brady, I'd stay" idiocy on the rant

until the stuff about recruiting came out today, i figured it was either prestige or recruiting and he saw himself as an "NFL guy"

the writing was on the wall when the reports of the MOU came out

Yes and dunno if hines can do calls. He sucks at shotgun snaps though, I know that.

Charles is the biggest loss if he goes which he prolly will announce tomorrow he will be. Cush could be huge though.

Charles...well academics could be an issue of him staying but if he does and gets everything in order, plays a full season like he did when not suspended this year...well he is first round pick.

Stevens and Vincent did not get very good grades but are prolly gone according to Twitter and couple other places.

He agreed to it, doesn't mean he wasn't looking to get back to the NFL. It was never signed and none of that shite means dick. We just were not gonna lose him to another college.

Yes not sure how much the game just caught him completely off guard or how much he actually hated it.

But NFL was always were he was going back to. Btw Brody just came out with article on this exact same thing.
