Glad he’s getting the chance after getting dealt such a shitty hand last year.

I can’t believe there are folks who think Brian Kelly hasn’t actually had conversations with the assistant coaches yet.

Good move, IMO. He came in too late last year to do his best job of coaching. Should have still been OK BC most were seniors. They were less than impressive, so there’s that. This is irrelevant but the our highest rated O-line recruit seems to have a high opinion of him.

Not just a full offseason but at least a year or two of recruiting guys. I think we all can get behind retaining him. He’s very well respected.

We didn’t need a third OL coach in three seasons. Let the guys settle in with him. He also seems to be a capable recruiter

Plus the line improved a lot towards the end of the year. Not saying they were great but they showed a lot of progress.

Davis is a good OL coach. I don't blame him for some of the struggles this season.

I posted some things I have said before, that were true. But I get called out for that too. You can’t win on this site.

I have been wrong, but have been right as well.
Is what it is.

Someone posted that earlier saying a staff member told them that directly. When questioned, the poster doubled down on the story.

Why is this a good thing? The O line was garbage this year. What am I missing? I want to be on board with this.

It’s not about deserving a chance. That shite brought Orgeron. It should be the best coach for the position. frick deserves a chance.

Well I doubt Sam Pittman would have a hand me down at OL coach. So lucky for us he’s a BR native and wanted some more of mamas good cooking.

Seems like we have consensus (edit: or we did at the beginning)for once. Seems like a great guy who just gets to work even if you give him extremely difficult jobs to do.
