I wouldn't put ANYTHING past Petrino. It takes a real tool to make Tommy Tuberville look like a victim, but he pulled it off with style. And if you Arky fans think the man has any program loyalty, just look at the state of his last two jobs when he hit the door. The wheels fell off at Louisville within a year and the Falcons were at rock bottom.
Petrino has you guys set up better than that right now, but he isn't going to stay at Arkansas out of loyalty or because of any thoughts of finishing what he started. Anybody who would try and steal the job of the head coach that gave them their big break within two years is going take the job they want the most, no matter what the consequences are or what they look like for doing it.

Nor would it surprise me. Bobby is a great coach but has proven to be more of the hired gun type; think Larry Brown in basketball. He really wanted the LSU job when he was Louisville. He'd probably have done about as well as Lester in BR but also could have been lured away by now. I actually wanted him at the time but am glad now that LM got the job.

Why do you keep laughing at the suggestion? It's a whole thread about Petrino at UF! The man can make a college offense run and has done big things with lesser schools athletes. If he went to Florida, he'd be scoring 90 points a game.
