I could say I'm close to Foley and his list has Mullen, Stoops, Kelly and Peterson on it and I am probably going to be right.

Wouldn't surprise me, but i'm 100% sure Mullen is top choice, and if he gets offered he isn't going to turn it down.

I heard that Petrino's wife really loves Fayetteville and has made him promise to never leave.

I'm right there with you. I think Mullen is the most likely. It would be an easier transition with personnel and he would probably keep some staff continuity with Heater. Also, Manny Diaz would be an upgrade on defense and would help with recruiting So. Florida.

okay which one of you "journalists" operate the FB page Hog Database? B/c they are reporting that the rumour out of Gainseville is Petrino is on the list...however, it's not being said anywhere, but in this thread.

Listening to a local radio show that had the guy that covers the Gainsville Sun Sports...said "I'm sure Petrino is on the list, but it would be a lateral move" FWIW

If Petrino had brain one in his head he would not even entertain the idea. His reputation has taken a serious hit with the Atlanta thing and i think he sticks around Arky a bit to sqaush that. just my .02
