You better hope and pray.

If Tuberville leaves, it will be of his own volition, and Auburn will become the new Miss. St., and vice versa.

He has what it takes in this league, and he obviously knows how to get it done with less depth. He coaches kids up.

Yeah, we'd struggle next season, but you are out of your mind if you think he'll turn it around is Starkville in one season. Good news is, he probably isn't going to Mississippi State anyway.

True, but he isn't the "perfect coach" He usually loses one game each year that he shouldn't, and that usually screws us out of championships. (i.e. 2006 loss to Georgia)

That aside, I'd be pretty upset if we lost him.

Auburn is making a huge mistake. Give him another year, if they can him now, the applicant pool is going down fast.

Former Auburn kicker Al Del Greco said on JOX this morning, that he talked to someone who talked to the assistant coaches. The assistant coaches said it didn't look good, that they were on the way out. I took it as the assistants are on the way out, not Tubby.

This would be great for the Auburn program. Tuberville getting fired would be absolutely miserable.

Our HC can't win a title here and we had a rough season. Go to another SEC school and bring them down.

-Arky fans re: Houston Nutt
-Ignorant Auburn fans re: Tubby

It's good to see AU fans that have sense and know that Tubby is a good coach and just had a bad season.

Just like LSU with our perfect storm
-Pelini leaving
-RP dismissed
-All established seniors graduating

Granted, this season was worse than expected, but anyone who expected another 10-11 wins was pipedreaming. That said, the D should never have been this bad and I'm glad that it's getting rectified sooner than later (allegedly)

That's all you need to know right there. Birminham radio is the biggest pile of manure out there when it comes to decent information, especially about Auburn. They'll say anything to denigrate Auburn and pump up Alabama. Finebaum comes out of Birmingham radio. Say no more.

Yes, Tubs is definitely making the rounds. Is there an exchange program we don't know about?

Possible if Jimmy Sexton has anything to do with it. If he leaves AU will be terrible for a long time. Hope that does not happen.

Can tubby win at State?

The bigger question is if Tubbs can coach at all SEC west schools before he dies.

I have heard, by word of mouth, that he was/is there also. That easy win in conference just went right out the window if this proves to be true. I love all the rumors this time of year. Its fun to see who ends up where.
