Better coach: Lance Leipold, Chris Kleiman or Matt Campbell?

I think all three are under consideration for Nebraska.

I rank them: Leipold, Kleiman and Campbell.

I think Leipold has the superior offense, but the other two are very good as well.

Campbell is proof you should move up to a bigger program when you can because success is hard to maintain at that level.

campbell, leipold, kleiman. Not much separating them though IMO. Would be a great hire to land any one of these guys for NEB

Campbell can still likely get any job he wants. Iowa State was expected to take a step back this season, yet they've taken every game deep into the 4th quarter.

They actually outplayed Kansas, and shut down their offense, but lost because their kicker couldn't hit his FGs.

Maybe this year. But if he has another bad year next year, you never know.

I like him. My comment was more about ISU than him. It’s just hard to maintain at those schools.

He’s only 46-40 at Iowa State. He would be a hard sell at some programs right now. If his record dips below .500, he’ll have problems.

Look what happen to the last HC he was a homerun hired and now ended up being fired. What went wrong with Frost?

What does Frost have to do with Campbell?

You would think twice to hire someone that aren't able to recruit at the top level and Campbell doesn't fit the bill to be a good fit for the Nebraska job. If Frost couldn't get it done, then what make you think Campbell can?

I’m not making the hire, but thanks for the confidence.

Don't think the overall record hurts as much as the major backsliding the last two years. If he doesn't right the ship that big year happening in 2020 will get chalked up to Covid craziness like Jimbo's one good A&M year.

I think the worry on Campbell is he supposedly isn’t big on the nil game and recruiting
Leipold can coach. I like kleiman a ton, but would like him more if he could keep Collin Klein as oc during the move

I agree. Is there a job coming open he would take this year?

I would think Klein would be a candidate to replace him if he left.

I think Campbell missed his opportunity for a big name program by staying at Iowa State. He’s reached the ceiling there and can only go down. He won’t get offers from big name programs now.
