Bertman/O'Keefe Issues Delaying DC Hire?

With Bertman lame duck and O'Keefe reportedly on the way out, is there a de facto freeze on Miles' ability to fill the position? Or is Les just waiting until after Monday to keep our D focused?

I'm pretty sure the delay is the national championship game...He's concentrating on that right now.
