Matt Eberflus was always destined to be an obscure answer to a Stump the Schwab final round about the Bears

Guy was an excellent tank commander who was kept one year too long.

I think this is the plum NFL job this cycle. Lots of talent, fan base that will be excited if you just make the playoffs, high draft pick that you don’t need to use on a QB, and a premier team.
Only drawback is that you are in the toughest division in the NFL. All of your division opponents seem to be set to be competitive for years.

I stated that Chicago will likely be the plum opening. I revise that- if Cincinnati comes open, it may be better. The drawback w the Bengals is the owner is cheap and has outdated methods on how to operate a team ( don’t trade in draft or trade players or for players during season).

A year late. Jim Harbaugh would have taken that job.

You hire Ben Johnson if you're the Bears. Don't let him go anywhere else.

Joe Brady has been mentioned.

It would have been better if he was never hired in the first place.

No way! I think I heard something like he was glad to be back on the West coast.

Chicago or Jacksonville. 2 young great pass rushers, beast number 1 WR in first of 5 years. Good running backs, decent linebackers. Basically a new stadium with great newer practice facility.
They just need to fire Baalke.
Doug has not played to
Lawrence’s strengths and I honestly see a lot of similarities between him and Williams.
Ponte Vedra also a shitload nicer place to live in the winter especially with a young family than Chicago
