Ultimately i want Miles to stay for the stability of the program, that said, replacements I would like to start with Patterson and Mullen.

I'd take Mullen without reservations. Patterson ain't leaving TCU for us IMO.

I like Solich, but I guess he was messing with the coed's etc, thats what some guys were saying on the Rivals MB

Frank Solich sucked. Nebraska did the right thing.

,,agreed and since TCU pretty much locked up the Big East BCS bid already.

couldnt agree more. this would really put us behind the eight ball as far as coaches go.
and i like your choices, they would be my top 2. i still think DEL Rio is a possibility as he is essentially a lame duck coach. jmo though.

as evidenced by their championships since then, and by how dedicated their new coach is to the long-term development of the program

Or as evidenced by how awesome they were when he took over, and how they looked nothing like their former self when he was fired.

Hopefully Alleva isn't the idiot that Pederson is

The majority of true long term lsu fans don't want miles to go. However you would not think that, cause unfortunately the most vocal short term bandwagoneers on here make you think the otherwise.

What's funny? If he was that good of a coach, wouldn't he be somewhere other than Ohio?

I do not want to go coach shopping now, there is such limited talent, Mullen just got a raise and turned down UF. we may all have to prepare ourselves for this. Hopefully Miles will make a statement, but the silence from the football office has some people worried right now.

False.
The long term fans remember how we battled for 3rd place in the west yearly, and don't want to go back to that.

He is 66 years old. How many coaches get jobs at big schools at that age?

Just what we need, another coach who can't develop a QB.
I think he's had 2 decent years at Jacksonville, and hasn't won anything big.

Because defensive guys are supposed to develop QBs?
