Clemson Rivals site reporting Bama's Kevin Steele is their new DC and is in town today to finalize deal.

Actually, Steele's main reason for leaving was because he hates being on the recruiting trail so much.

i heard from a few bama players that steele is pretty much hated by every player on the team and theyre glad to see him go

Maybe Saban brings in Crennel, then Weis when he gets fired. Then Bama elevates Saban to AD, he brings in Belichick as head coach and Bama wins the Super Bowl.

OK - just so long as Nick gets the credit. He also gets partial credit for our eight wins this year (still had a few of Nick's players) and the Dolphins' playoff appearance (some of his draft picks still on the team).

What is the O/U on how long the next Bama DC lasts? 1 1/2 season?
