Footballscoop
Potential hiring they might make for recruiting personnel side of football operations. Just chatter but Pruitt and Thomas share same agent.

Note: Thomas did turn down several opportunities in NFL to at LSU with O.

Whole family is Tennessee alums, dad used to sit on the board of trustees, been a Tennessee fan his whole life.

If he leaves LSU, it's not because of money or who his agent is.

Damn. I was hoping the shite show hiring process would have ended this talk. Oh well, can't fault him for going "home".

I would offer him more money, but sometimes when momma calls, you gotta answer.

Besides, he has a pretty remarkable reputation that he would survive a coaching change if Pruitt doesn't work out. The next coach at TN would be a tard not to keep him on.

If he leaves, O better get some more recruiters in here and cut some dead recruiting weight on the staff.

I know everybody loves Esminger, but the guy is almost 70. Give him an office job watching evaluation tapes/breaking down opponents' film. There's no way he's out there calling/texting these high school kids every day and all night. He doesn't have the energy for it. That's a position on the staff that you could afford to sacrifice some coaching for elite recruiting ability.

O views it as owing him for helping land the job. He and ponamsky have lifetime gigs for it.

Ensminger is a very good recruiter. Not sure where you're getting that he isn't.

That report didn't show raises for the entire staff. You have no idea what Thomas got or how much he makes.

Or if TAF picked up the raise.
