Prob bc people just post BS nonstop so who's to say this isn't more?

I'd fully expect Thomas to join Chip Kelly's staff in Gainesville along with Dan Enos

No, Petersen signed an extension.

In April, and it's an insult. He's making less than half the coaches in the SEC, AND THE BEST PART is his buyout

Brace yourself:

Only $1.5 Million

We could get Petersen cheaper than we could get Campbell, or Mullen

Does Knoxville have a high end cancer center? One of the reasons he chose UW was the hospital there had some special treatment center for his wife.

It was his son, who is well now, and about to graduate high school

I sincerely hope it happens for you guys. Tennessee endured the Dooley era and then Butch Jones era so ya'll definitely deserve a break!

V&S, I think Gruden is still wayyy more likely than Petersen. I don’t think Washington will hesitate to match what we offer him.

Plus, if it’s going to be announced in the next few days, I really doubt it’s Petersen.

Would much rather Petersen than Gruden if I'm a vol fan

They'll never appreciate him like we will

No. It’s an honest question. Please don’t hesitate to answer it. You have yet to acurately report anything related to UT. What could I be mad about. I’ll hang up and listen.

Gruden would be fun and exciting, but Petersen is as close to a sure winner as it gets.

You're obviously bothered enough to keep posting in this thread.

Also, there’s zero chance Petersen is not only hired, but working on his staff. If Austin Thomas is already planning to be here, there’s only one name that makes sense.

Per multiple sources on the UT campus and connected to the school’s board of trustees, Tennessee event management and facilities staff have been informed to not waste any time in clean-up and turnaround efforts following the Vols’ finale against Vanderbilt. UT introduces new football coaches inside Neyland Stadium facilities and also historically hosts private meet-and-greet events for new coaches with boosters and program friends. Additionally, UT routinely conducts photo and video shoots on the field inside Neyland Stadium with a new coach.

This from Gridiron Now. But I've been hearing the same thing from other folks. Also hearing that the players have been told the coach will be announced Sunday

Dude, when have I EVER represented rumors as fact?

Don't get mad at me if I mention the Thomas chatter, which was and is happening, and it turns out that it has legs.

I'm not a reporter, nor a journalist, do you not understand how message boards work?

I hope Austinnis hired. Just another reason to hate and fire Alleva. He is a cancer. Our program is enduring a slow death.
