Austin Thomas hired by UT?

Rumor going all around Franklin TN. He has been hired as director of football operations at UT and new coach to be announced officially in the next 24 hours?
I hope this is wrong and just a rumor.... but coming from some people who know him in the area.

I seriously doubt it considering they haven't hired an actual coach yet.

Brent Hubbs, the owner of volquest, said earlier today he expected Thomas to be a part of the next staff.

That is the point..... keeping new coach under wraps.....announcement to be immediately after Vandy game??? This is from some close friends who know his family well.

Does Knoxville have a high end cancer center? One of the reasons he chose UW was the hospital there had some special treatment center for his wife.
