No way they fired Gus and that buyout. They had to have lost out on someone. But who?

Nah, we good. Y'all can have that craziness. I like watching it from afar.

My sources are telling me Bill O'Brien is a very strong possibility for this job.

No, the idiots at Auburn planned on Steele from the start, but the wave of rage has caused them to pause.

This might actually be right. There are enough people saying Cristobal and Auburn weren't really that serious.

just a thought but I have heard that Kevin has made some inroads with heavy hitters within the AU program. It could be the search firm and other talk is merely a smoke scream. I would be shocked if Kevin is named named HC at the end of the week.

Gus has no personality and probably did not endear himself to this critical people. Gus saying things like we are young or we got all the pieces in place to be very good next year cause him to wear out his welcome with these heavy hitters and huge donors.

Sark. Unless things have gone south. Its Auburn, so you never know.

I am practicing clanging a damn cowbell just in case that it falls back to Steele

What makes you think that admin has any strategic sense? They fired their HC after a win 3 days before ESD with several major prospects probably set to commit. I'm of the opinion Auburn is ran by a bunch of idiots and assuming they have a coherent plan is giving them too much credit.
