Does that bother Miles at all that he isn't the one Mich. really wants, or is Miles just grateful to get an offer any way he can?

If Kirk turned the job down it worries more because Michigan would want a sure thing with their next choice. And the best sure thing is Les.

they are just giving Miles this week to get the SEC CG out of the way and then he will fly to Michigan. I don't think Miles will be there for the bowl game.

This assumes 2 big things:
(1) The job was actually offered to Kirk Ferentz
(2) He turned it down.
It seems to me that these are 2 very big assumptions to make at this point.

Rumor still has steam though...at least the part that KF is actually being considered for the job. Being offered before any interviews were conducted sounds fishy. Thought a minority interview was required?
