Riley: OU is joining the SEC in 1-2 years… why leave from his perspective? Money? OU could match. It’s safer in Norman than BR.

Napier: I keep reading that he should go to TCU first then he’ll be ready. The guy was offered (Turned down Auburn and South Carolina) two SEC jobs last year… he has if anything only strengthened his resume with this season. Why would he settle for the TCU job if he was already offered a more prestigious job?

Add to that I was surprised to read that Fickell turned down the Mich State job before Tucker took it.

I was thinking about this some more. Correct me if I'm wrong, but recruiting in the Big 12 isn't the same as the SEC in terms of where you target, right? Looking at their last couple of classes and minus a recruit here and there from Florida and other east coast states, they tend to sticks mostly with Texas and Oklahoma. I imagine it will take both OU and Texas some time to get established in the SEC recruiting grounds. Perhaps the appeal would be to jump to an already established SEC recruiting power house and have a foot in the door from the start.

Lol yeah maybe, but what the hell does that have to do with anything. And have you ever been to the outskirts of OU’s campus? It ain’t no Willy Wonka’s Wonderland pal.

The safety of BR is actively being used against LSU in recruiting.

We all said the same thing about A&M who isn't even remotely the same program as OU. They are pulling top 10 classes now.

OU will kill it in the SEc might take a season or two

You could say it’s a jump start, but in the same breathe you have to establish your recruiting grounds with coaches in LA.

And you know that how? Because some dumb dumb said so online? Have you actively participated in a recruiting visit with Nick Saban, Jimbo Fisher, Kirby Smart etc?

Not saying it will never happen. OU is definitely CFB royalty and will have it down before long.

Jordy isn’t great, and it very well may be true. Just pointing out OU isn’t some fairytale suburbia. I’ve been there numerous times, and it has its fair share of garbage right next to campus.

Name me some reasons they would leave? OU is arguably more of a national blue blood program than LSU.

I'm not saying that he is but one of your main reasons was safety

Oklahoma isn't going to just walk into the SEC and take over. You realize they play a shite schedule in the Big 12. It's going to take time to get the defensive recruits. In Louisiana he can get them easier.

What's the level of security at The University Club or CCOL? Pretty sure it's well above average.
