Doing reading we have LSU and UF sides saying it was done last week . My wife said this is the male version of watching real
Housewives on bravo.
Yeah I get super interested in these when Tennessee isnt involved
When it's a Tennessee search I tune out for my own sanity. I don't have any sources at Tennessee to tell me anything anyway.

Way better chance than the school that gets strung along every coaching search

He’s not going anywhere
To believe this you have to think that this 35 yr old coach thinks he is at his last coaching spot.
there are 10-12 million reasons per year that a guy like that would consider leaving for LSU. Dont kid yourself.
The alma mater stuff only goes so far.

We already convinced ourselves if it was Drink we would have our own Tennessee revolt

I suppose it depends on who you were referring to.
From my perspective as I don’t do twitter, it’s been very quiet.
Twitter is a different animal. Any idiot with an account can present himself as an insider when we both know that is bullshite.

I believe it was said they reached out to 5 candidates. Have to believe he was one.
But he’s at his Alma mater why leave that? Especially knowing you’re not the first choice

What did he say?
I know a few people at UF at various levels in and around the AD.
Higher up guy was confident it was UF last week and basically done.
Lower level guy who isn't a decision maker but based on his position would be one of the first to know was confident around the same time, and he also mentioned that he knows the Ole Miss S+C coach personally and that he said he thinks Lane to UF too.
Then Graham Hall(I think that's his name, it's some UF beat guy) said he was told to keep quiet about things on Thursday or Friday of last week. Around the same time both of my contacts have gone zero dark thirty since. The higher level guy not talking isn't as strange, we aren't super close. But I talk to the lower level guy almost daily and asked him directly if he had heard anything else a couple of days ago, he read the message and hasn't responded or messaged anything since. My theory is they got gag orders from Turnkey (I think they did something similar with their OkSt search since nothing really leaked at all from it).
Then I think yesterday it comes out from On3 beat writers that if Lane were to go to UF he would bring the S+C coach from OM. So that kind of lines up with what my buddy heard from him and makes me wonder if maybe he already knew something?
So personally just based on the info I have I think it's UF or he backs out and stays at OM. But I'm not plugged in at all on the LSU or Ole Miss sides and people are obviously hearing things there to so I won't be surprised either way.

Keeping on eye on who hasn't signed an extension yet is important right now

You have been a cocky arse because of some random shitty UF contact this entire search and have finally said the part that everybody needs to understand. Everybody knows somebody connected to one of the three schools trying to get (or maintain in OM case) Kiffin. There are people at multiple levels of either academic or athletic administrations at different schools all saying they all got kiffin. Everybody has info, but right now there’s such an over abundance of information that it has become useless.

I've been rude to people who were rude to me, you're just really sensitive about this
I've been very open that I don't think what i heard was gospel. It might end up being right, it might not.
I actually don't want to be right, id rather UF hire Derek Dooley or somebody

sounds reasonable. thank you!

He said the MOU Kiffin signed has a buyout to break it that’s higher than the buyout on Kiffin’s contract.
You really think Sexton would negotiate that with Florida weeks ago?

GatorRaid is not some long term insider. He’s a poster who got some stuff right early on. It also seems like he’s a weirdo. Most likely, he had some connection with the UAA for the search, but he never seemed overly bright.
There were way more Gator fans holding out hope that he’s legit than I would have hoped. But a lot of our fans are stupid.
The legit insiders for UF have been pretty quiet and only gave out info like “I am feeling confident” or “things are going to plan”. They never gave out dates or exactly how things would play out.
LSU has “insiders” who did the same crap as Gatorraid saying “it’s a done deal” and “watch for a leak tonight.” The LSU fans that fall for them are as stupid as the guys who fell for Gatorraid.

No, or at least if he did we wouldn't be hearing all of this stuff about LSU unless it's just to get other clients raises

Yeah odds are every school has fans who fell for some fake insider. Even if he goes to LSU for instance, several of the "Insiders" have already been wrong.
