Arnett and Others?

Freeman is definitely the guy. It will be devastating if we cannot swing him. That being said, there are still plenty of options above and beyond what we had in Bo Pelini. Is there a reason no one is discussing Zach Arnett as a fall back target? Is it the scheme issue? Sorry if the post seems repetitive.

^ Right. It is completely illogical to shut down after not getting the "number 1 guy." Freeman would be a homerun hire, but there has to be a backup plan. All of my MSU buddies rave about Arnett, and after watching MSU's defense a few times this year I can't really blame them. Their defense performed exceedingly well for their level of talent and the opt-out/locker room issues they dealt with. I just wanted to ask why Arnett's name hasn't come up more.
