Barrett Sallee @BarrettSallee
37s
So, to recap:
- Gus "wants to be at Auburn"
- Gus "plans on being at Auburn"
- @geoff_calkins says Mike Norvell didn't call in to Liberty Bowl teleconference

Did Sexton just push us into a big contract with Gus or does Arkansas get their guy?

Brandon Marcello reporting Gus signs new deal with Auburn... stay tuned.

Norvell is out recruiting right now (a guy committed to Arkansas coincidentally). Memphis already knew he wasn't participating in the teleconference. Not sure if it means anything.

I would be fine with either one.

I believe norvell has the #1 recruited jc qb at the moment?

Anybody we get will be an upgrade.

Our "insiders" are reporting Gus just inked a new deal with Auburn. TIFWIW (not much).

i don't care where malzahn winds up, but if its fayetteville, don't expect many AU folks to melt

A bunch of us have been on Norvell since about midway through the season.

Most you guys are forgetting, Arkansas fans started our "coaching search" after the A&M game.

Why do people not understand no offer was made? Peoples is doing exactly what Broyles did make Arkansas reporters look stupid. Look in Tulsa media for real news. Been that way for 40 years. Foundation knows what it’s doing.

People also seem to forget how many enemies Gus made here and he’s not liked by many. He allowed the fan base to be torn apart, should’ve never been hired as OC, and is better off in Auburn.

Hey DC. It’s funny people outside the state don’t understand the dynamics. I think they would have forgiven him some if he didn’t take the stAte job but that cemented it.

But his actions and never coming out to help calm the fan base split is unforgivable imo

Biddy says norvell or Morris now. Personally I think they should have already hired norvell.

Norvell is a better coach, but Morris would open recruiting trails in TX that they need more than anything else.
