Are these pool of candidates really an upgrade over Luke or Odom?

Arkansas had to make a change, Morris was probably the worst coach in SEC history but OM and Mizzou had solid coaches for their level programs.
Doesn’t seem like any of the discussed candidates are really much of an improvement.

Norvell or Kiffin, yes. Missouri has no hope.
ETA: Matt Luke was a mediocre to poor offensive line coach who was inexplicably given a head coaching job by the prior administration. People should really stop with the narrative that he got a raw deal

Of the three open jobs, you're right, Arkansas is the only team guaranteed to get a better coach than they fired.
It's entirely possible Mizzou and Ole Miss tread water.
That doesn't mean Odom and Luke should have kept their jobs. Morris was just that fricking bad.
