Yep I member your post.

It doesn't make sense. Although I disagree that Aranda doesn't have issues with the LSU admin. But those issues aren't keeping him from fielding a top defense, and a better job will be coming soon for him whether it is the NFL or a college head coaching position. So it wouldn't make sense for him to leave to A&M unless he believed Oregron was getting fired next year and Alleva was staying put. That is not likely to happen

Rumor is Aranda end game is NFL DC. Can’t blame him if that’s the route he goes. He interviewed for Green Bay job before he came to LSU.

I'm sure TAMU will continue their LSU envy and look for someone on LSU's staff to poach as DC. They'll probably give Raymond the DC job so they can attempt to be called the next DBU.

Well they thought Aranda would bring Corey Raymond with them. That’s why the deal was taking so long.

LSU is a dumpster fire but TAMU is a bigger dumpster fire. They had the Texas envy when they were little bro to them. Since they can't touch LSU, everything they do is to beat LSU and it fails. Just like everything LSU tries to do is beat Bama and it fails. TAMU is under the impression they can just throw a bag of money at the problem and fix it easily. They still haven't figured it out. They're sorta in the same situation LSU is in. Not really about money. It goes much deeper than that. Perhaps they should take a serious evaluation look at their program just as LSU should.

Exactly how long do you expect Aranda to wait?

Until CEO's contract is up. If CEO hasn't won a NC by then and LSU renews his contract anyway, Aranda's gone. If he does or if LSU fires CEO and don't hire him, he's still gone.

Their defense is almost like a rebuilding situation.

I'm not sure this statement accurately portrays the dumpster fire that is our defense. It is an absolute rebuild.

He interviewed for a defensive position, but not for DC. He would likely have to take a pay cut to get his foot in the door of the NFL. He makes way too much money.

Aranda could walk into Alleva's office right now and get the HC job if he was willing to play that card.

Well there is a new thread on Texags claiming Aranda is a done deal. Lucci or whatever that clowns name is reporting that nobody has turned them down and that they are getting their #1 choice. Aranda.
