Everyone and their brother can score points these days….the missing link is good (enough) defense. Not a flashy hire but he will win. He can hire Cousin Earnie or Hermann to call plays and coordinate the Offense.

All of y’all who want Aranda, it’s like y’all haven’t been paying attention. You get someone at LSU who can coach offense, this program becomes a fricking dynasty.
If you get a defensive head coach, you gonna be constantly replacing OC’s every time you have a great season. 2019 happened cause of the offense, not cause Aranda’s defense was anything special.
Oh and also the whole, “he’s one of us he coached here already”. Seriously it’s like y’all never learn any lessons from anything.

Down the stretch that defense played really well against super high level competition. Kellen Mond and A&M, Fromm and Georgia, Hurts and Oklahoma, and finally Lawrence and Clemson.

So instead of just hiring an offensive guy as head coach, which is the easiest route to LSU dominance, let’s hire a defensive guy and pray he becomes the greatest coach and recruiter in the history of the sport?
Also, Saban had to adjust to modern football and because of his rep basically just started getting his choice of OC’s to come there.

Ole Miss was 31-7 at half. 2 of Vandy's TDs weren't scored by the offense.
Neither of those teams went blow for blow with us like so many like to pretend, we got out to big leads and coasted to the finish.
