like I said earlier, recycled by definition.

So you can't even explain why you deem him recycled when he's never been a head coach aside from at Baylor.

He was a DC at Wisconsin, Hawaii, here and now he's the head coach at Baylor. That's just what I can think of.

You're acting like he's been a head coach all over the place and has stunk it up everywhere he's been.

It's an easy question. What makes him recycled in your opinion?

I don't really see this. He makes adjustments. Kiffin relies almost entirely on his offense. Every where's he's been a HC. TN, USC, FAU, now at Ole Miss. There's not much defense (which makes our loss sting even more) I think that's why he goes for it on 4th almost every time. He doesn't trust his own defense.

My concern is that he's only in his second year as a head coach but his defenses have always been good.

I agree.

I don't really care about wins and losses in assessing the next coach, what I wonder about is program.

LSU will bring in the athletes, we need a guy with the structure to bring it together.

Has Aranda shown enough running the whole shebang, yet? Because the guy coming in, is going to have to fix some things.

I think he has a better than average chance to do that.

No doubt. I completely agree.

That's just it though. More often than not those big name hires tend to fade. Need I remind you that the last cycle the big names we wanted were Fisher and Herman, and neither of those set the world on fire. We need don't need some flashy big name whose flaws are hidden by the situation they are in. We get one of those, and all we get a coach that isn't any better than others we passed on with a giant buyout when we get tired of them underachieving.

Instead, we need the smartest fricker we can find. Give me ARANDA!

Are you just not remembering all the points his defense at LSU was giving up his last two years? And Ole Miss rushing for almost 400 yards. I will never forget giving up 74 to TAMU. We had an unbelievable offense to compliment. In my book, not the second coming.

My dream hire would be Dave back as HC and Brady back here as OC with Walker Howard coming in.

Unstoppable.

One thing not to overlook.. Does Dave want to bring his family from Texas and it's freedoms back to Louisiana and JBE?

I'd be willing to bet his family has fared better at Baylor and the area vs Baton Rouge and the JBE train wreck.

Where do you want to raise your kids?

HC Aranda is a pleasant surprise.

No way he picks up and leaves Baylor after year two…
