Aranda is just really fricking smart and it looks like the players love the guy.

We can't lose* our identity on defense to please fans who want a Texas Tech style offense.

Make Aranda HC and hire Justin Wilcox as DC. Wisky really hasn't missed a beat with Wilcox as DC this year. Throw money at him and let him run the system.

Surround Aranda with ace recruiters and hire a solid OC

It's a better plan than letting Coach O run this program into the ground.

Why do we really need him though if it's essentially Amanda's defense? Seems like we could save some money and put it towards someone who could have complete autonomy over the offense.

Wow, you literally make my point, that while Aranda is a great DC and I want him to stay, he can be replaced. Yet you think he is so totally awesome that even without any experience as a HC let's make him in charge of a $100 plus million program. Now that's a risky proposition, geez.

It's a lot better than letting Ed Orgeron run a $100 million dollar program.

Every single one of our opponents will laugh in our fricking face if we hire that man.

Hard to be a head coach at just about any football program if you don't like to talk much. A lot of events that require a lot of conversation.

Again, he's interim coach of a program and team he did not build.

Aranda bent Arkansas over last night.

He has been in charge of building and sustaining a program once. And he was historically bad. He got worse as it became more "his program". That's why they'd laugh. They can see farther than the tip of their nose and apparently our fanbase cannot.

im all for anything that makes Aranda HC, but there's a long list of HCs who call their own plays. Aranda should be another.

Again, LSU is NOT going to hire a coach with no head coaching experience!!! Aranda is not ready!!

To be fair, I don't think Ole Miss, Arkansas, and Missouri are laughing right now.

Either one of the Co-OC's from Clemson

Tony Elliot is the more likely choice

Maybe Wisky is using "his secret system".
