He said over the summer that he enjoys life in the NFL because it's all about football. I took it as his subtle way of saying he doesn't want to deal with recruiting or kissing-arse with boosters right now.
Things can change, but I'm not sure K-State could even coax him. Big maybe if Ferentz decides to retire and Iowa calls Bert home.

He’s got it made right now. Stays in Fayetteville gets NFL check and sees the new kid. I think in 2 years is when he goes someplace.
