Was just responding to arguments for and against Fisher.

The only argument against Fisher is that he's only going to win 10 this year. Other than that, it's a bunch of people saying he's not elite "just because". I've been on this board for weeks and have yet to see a logical argument to keep him out of the tier right below Meyer and Saban.

Meanwhile, the same people claiming Fisher isn't elite will tell you that Herman and/or Harbaugh are "better" when there is literally nothing to support it.

You are severely undervaluing what Harbaugh has accomplished.

Herman doesn't have a resume case for being in the elite tier either, but he doesn't have the coaching stops either. He's the shooting star case. You hire him HOPING he's Urban Meyer, but there's no logical way to argue he's better than those guys right now.

Harbaugh you can easily argue is better than Jimbo.

In the NFL? Sure.
In CFB? Not even close.

Not easily at all, unless you're talking NFL, where, it should be noted, he was falling fast.
There is no comparison in College, Fisher has been more successful. Period.

as far as active college coaches, It goes...

Saban
Urban

Harbaugh
Jimbo
Peterson
Dabo
Patterson

Stick Chip Kelly between Meyer and Harbaugh if we're talking all potential options.

it could DEFINITELY be argued that Jimbo should be above Harbaugh, but it would hard to actually do that.

I don't think he is a elite coach ! He hasn't sustained an elete program yet and he wont , he doesn't have the temperament !

Who's elite? Saban/Harbaugh/Meyer? We aren't getting those. Who left has a better resume than Jimbo?

What has Harbaugh won exactly to be elite? I know he is a good coach but he hasn't won anything.
