Apparently the man knew what he was talking about.
"Kiffin then became Al Davis’ unusual choice to take over the Oakland Raiders as a 31-year-old coach with almost no NFL experience. He made it through just 20 games before an ugly public firing in which Davis called Kiffin a liar who brought “disgrace” on the Raiders."

or, he is still insane but he was right about this one thing
hell, the guy still wants Jamarcus Russel as his starting qb, how much more evidence do you need.

People like to bag on Al Davis but it was just a handful of years ago the Raiders were in a Superbowl and would've been back to back if it weren't for the phantom tuck rule.

those raiders teams were built by a strong GM and strong coach. al davis couldn't take it, so they left
the biggest problem al had, was that the west coast offense wasn't vertical enough
al davis would rather have control and play his way (1970s ball) than win. fact.
