They said it would be crazy to fire Les miles just to promote Ed Orgeron. But they did it.

You can only win so many games on emotions then you fall apart.

I understand the “once bitten, twice shy” sentiment but I think they are somewhat different circumstances.

Orgeron at least had experience leading an SEC program. Plus he had a recent track record of being USC’s interim. Also, Alleva decided to go rogue during that “search” too

It’s not my best case, but if it is all we have- I am good with it

Obviously, we all want the big name…time will tell

Arkansas did everything they could to lose that game yesterday and LSU could still only clip them by a point.

felt good to get a win and stop the bleeding

however

team is still dogshit. just not warmed over dogshit.

we SHOULD get our asses totally kicked when we go to norman.

Not even asking for a big name. But we can’t promote a proven loser as a hc just because of the vibes.

I understand that…I am saying if worst case scenario is Frank, I feel better about it after yesterday

Not the product…the kids buying in

A great OC and staff will help drastically

No one could come in and fix that shite show in 2 weeks…it will take time and expertise

if he ends up the placeholder we had best have struckout on 15 coaches. which i do not see happening. doubtful verge gets butthurt after ONE turndown like joe alleva did with herman then promotes the interim.

let's say frank was the coach i would make it known he is ONLY coach for the season. we are still looking. he is only a temporary placeholder for the 2026 season only. but it should never come to that.
