Dave Aranda to HC. Pay Kiffin at least 1.9 mil as OC.

This board is so bi-polar. Aranda wouldn't be a bad hire, I just think that we jump to whatever guy has the best game each week.

Not so bi-polar as realistic. Aranda is HC material. Look at the defensive improvements day in and day out. No flash, just goes about his business.

He developed about a good a game plan as you'll see against Bama. His guys were well prepared and ready to go.

So some of the O bandwagon is falling off...thats good to see.
I think we do everything in our power to keep aranda, and jimbo or Herman will do that I think.
If they both say no, I would be okay with aranda as HC, if he keeps calling the defensive plays.
I think his strength is calling play by play by play...even more so than the overall game plan. I don't trust that he could teach another DC to call the game the same way.
Just my thoughts.

I'm in, if others say no. My biggest concern with our new hire is that he will retain Aranda. I would pass on someone who wouldn't do everything they could to keep him at lsu for at least one more year. After a year he will likely be gone to be HC somewhere else.

If Kiffin left Tuscaloosa I would not shed one tear and absolutely no fricks would be given. Kiffin tries to get too cute with his play calling and he fails to get the ball into thee hands of our best players. OJ Howard is going to be a multiple Pro Bowl TE in the NFL and Kiffin has wasted his talent. Y'all go right on ahead and take Kiffin.
