Is this your man crush?

You need to get with James Cameron and set your bar higher I suppose.

No, I don’t personally like it. But someone from Minnesota is being entertained.

Adam Zimmer and Coach O did spend a season together with the Saints. There is a connection.

Andre Patterson is a journeyman DL coach. He spent a season as Pete Carroll’s DL coach with the Patriots in ‘97.

Eh, not a fan.

Time at Minn. has been good, but before that he LBs performance has been questionable.

I think my biggest issue would be that he's pretty much a pure NFL guy. There is no basis to judge recruiting on whether he can/will do it.

Recruiting is more art than science. You don't plop your resume on the kitchen table. If they've never done it, it's just one big arse question mark. Too big of a question mark as far as I'm concerned. That's on top of a not so great track record. Not terrible, but never great.

Now, having said that, if the interest is Andre Patterson it is a whole other story. That would be very intriguing. And I wouldn't necessarily assume he wouldn't move back into college (IF P5 team & full DC responsibilities).

Gotcha! Well I’m letting y’all know our jet is flying a guy in from Minneapolis and we ain’t really just flying guys in for shits and giggles. Zimmer was my initial guess bc of the O connection, but it may be Patterson.

Former lead analyst Roy Anderson is on staff in Minny. He was an analyst for us in 2019

Robin Yount too old?

Or actually, I could see O & Jesse Ventura on the sidelines together in a rabid Red Bull shirt ripping party.

Could be a possibility as Safeties coach

Yep. But I'd lean more towards one of the others since hiring a DBackfield/Safeties Coach before a DC doesn't quite wash. Woah---unless CRay is gonna be the DC?!?!? (that's pure conjecture on my part)

Agreed. Gotta Recruit. Great schemes will only go so far without the players to execute---particularly in the SEC.

I'm still on Schumann for the recruiting factor.

I have to say I'm pessimistic but I hope this means we are just interviewing different candidates before a decision is made---not that Schumann has turned us down.
