You’re wrong SE was the only candidate. An article just broke that Tee Martin interviewed, but a deal couldn’t be reached.
Moreover, you yourself “wrote per your source” LSU interviewed and offered LK the same deal Aranda got just yesterday. You also wrote yesterday that CEO then tried to get Briles and the board said no. Your lies have caught up with you.
You’re full of shite and don’t remember what you wrote, because you stole the material from 247.
All in all, CEO had to settle for SE. We needed an OC in place before this recruiting weekend.

I am happy for you that you believe that.
I think you are partially right and other people are partially right. I.e. There are always more than one side of a story and even more perceptions of said story.
The proof will be in the pudding as the old addage goes.
The "Facts" as they currently stand at this exact moment:
1. The record was not good enough and even Coach O is trying to make changes because said record was not good enough.
2. Coach O and others performed a poor OC search last season and also apparently at Ole Miss because both times he fired his first OC after only one season.
3. His coaching resume does not promote a whole lot of confidence without resorting to pumping.
4. He claims he has learned but he has already repeated some of the same mistakes.
These are all documented Facts.
I don't care who is more right than someone else. You are another poster are even Coach O himself.
He needs to get the crap Right with a Quickness or he will get Fired and it will be deserved just like Miles deserved to be Fired.

Wildcat...well said. The difference here is motive. My only motive is I want LSU to be successful. I can't argue anything you said. Other facts are thet Oeaux is currently the HC, and SE is our OC. For better or worse. I want to see both succeed because I want to see LSU succeed. Oeaux understands that his future employment is at stake. I believe he understands the PR fallout that has taken place since the ND fiasco. I'm not arguing that anything has really been handled appropriately...but inside the building, it's no where near as bad as some here make it out to be. I could list the positives, but it would be wasted effort here.
Oeaux should have vetted Canada better. Every offensive coach on the staff was involved in the interview of Canada. It is true that Oeaux asked Canada to simplify the offense. Canada wanted to start Brennan and was told no. Canada called the Troy game, but only used about 20% of the playbook. For whatever reason, he (Canada) made no adjustments. Canada attempted to turn some of the staff against Oeaux, but wasn't successful. Oeaux wanted to fire him on the spot, but Alleva brokered a deal to keep Canada through the end of the season.
Everything I just said is an absolute fact. No spin. No agenda except to tell the truth. Oeaux shares the blame for how all of this has played out. I am hopeful that Oeaux will right the ship, and that SE will have a reemergence of his glory years, and field a strong productive offense. The odds are stacked against us...new QB, RB by committee, and inexperienced WRs. We'll have a good O Line...thankfully.

if Canada is a disaster, it's on O b/c he's coordinator-dependent and that's the entire model he pitched. he has to basically be perfect in his coordinator hires or he is failing as a HC. agree or disagree?

This is all bullshite and untrue. Every single target on the board for the last 4 spots in this class is on the defensive side of the ball. OC did not need to be in place and hiring SE is not a splash that would turn a recruits head anyway. This was a planned good ole boy back room hire from jump. What a shite show this program has become.

This may be one of the most disliked hires ever in LSU history. Buddy said they are starting to cut their phones off .
I hope this is still the case. This press conference gave lots of idiots the "feels" and they are now pumped about coach zero again.
