It's strange no one realizes how close Will is to AU. Bill Oliver gave him his first gig as a coach here too.

Sure, but let's not overstate his feelings for the school based on his short stint getting his masters. It is clearly not the same as the four years as an undergrad.

He got his start coaching here.

@iamthebagman2: Brian Van Gorder told me over a couple of beers that the reason he took Auburn job was that Muschamp said it was the best job he ever had.
Not the most credible source in the world but that's also not really something to lie about

I'd like to sit in on the Auburn education masters class that teaches wide eyed, snarling glares and punching white boards as an educational tactic.

Why? He has never coached at UGA. I have never heard of him having any ties to the university after receiving his undergrad.

Not saying that's not typically the case, but I can think of a number of people here that work in tangential relation to the athletics department for whom that is most certainly not true

ETA: Not that it really matters in this case

What does that have to do with Auburn vs. Texas A&M?

Very little. I was attempting to join the conversation between AUCE05 and Chicken about undergrad vs grad school.

I could be wrong. Wouldn't be the first time, but I have never heard of Will wanting to get back to UGA. I hear that about Smart, but not Will.

Muschamp isn't going to work for either of the HUNH/ arena league / soon to be hot seat / most disappointing coaches of year.

That rules out Gus & Sumlin.
