From what I read, Fisher put a feeler out in December to gauge interest, then made an offer over the weekend, which LSU coutered and Aranda declined A&M. This would just be a counter-offer from A&M. Either trying to make an offer Aranda simply can't refuse, or trying to make LSU pay more to keep him and potentially lowering the amount we can spend for a possible Canada buyout and new OC.
