A&M about to need a new TE coach: Tim Brewster going to UNC

This will be a big blow to A&M recruiting. Mack Brown still screwing A&M after all these years. This is being reported by A&M's 247 site.

It's obviously not ideal but I wouldn't call it a big blow unless leal or cupp start looking around

Yeah Leal and Cupp are the two to be worried about in this class. And I would think Cupp is pretty solid with how well we produced at the position this year plus proximity to home. Will be interesting to see who we replace him with and how it impacts 2020

Could help LSU with another TE in Texas. Jalen Wyndmyer or something like that. He and Zipperer seem to be the 2 high school targets on the board

I’m really surprised he’d be leaving to work under a coach who is 67, though chapel hill looks incredible.
Still money talks and I’m sure A&M ponied up to keep him unless there’s way more to this story

Ahh, I see. Brewster is just one of those big recruiting names and it’s pretty easy to get a kid to UNC. Big for them

Yeah I dk how this Mack thing will go but they should recruit at a pretty high level with Brewster on staff

Even though Brewster is his lead recruiter, he says he’s good with A&M and still plan to sign early.
“Coach Price is my DE coach so if he was too move it wouldn’t affect my recruitment and my commitment to A&M”

Someone on 247 suggested Chiaverini from CU but the replacement there would be crazy to not try to retain him
