Done deal indicates something is signed. I'd stop just short of that but it's happening. Dan Wolken added,

@DanWolken Off the subject a bit but do you think Fuente to VT a done deal also?

As a Tulane fan, I'd like them to take a look at GA Southern's coach. It's triple option but they are very disciplined and physical.

Tried to bump the Forde article stating Fuente to VT, but our insiders are saying it is done and that the press release goes out tomorrow, and press conference on Monday.

Most of the defense staff is staying, so Fuente and Foster.

Nice. Great landing spot for him. Should be a good fit.

What kind of offense does Curtis Johnson run? Can he call plays?

Memphis: Memphis’ Commercial Appeal is now reporting that Barry Odom has been offered the job as well; however ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg reports that Memphis plans to interview multiple candidates. AD Tom Bowen will speak with media this afternoon at 4:30. Sources tell us Bowen plans to say he will interview candidates before any official offer is made

Based on what I can tell following AAC - no. His offense has been worse every year and he has returned guys meaning you would think you would see some/any sort of improvement. Dude has been coaching 25+ years and was never even a coordinator on any level or HC. Career WR coach. There must have been good reason for that and I am sure Tulane fans will hammer that point home.

He claims to run the Saints offense, it actually looks nothing like the saints offense though. I wouldn't let him call plays

With Bowling Green set to play on Friday, Dino Babers is not in position to publicly accept other HC position, UCF or otherwise.

Interesting.

I wonder if this means Babers is holding out for something else, such as the SC job?

I haven't gotten to see GA Southern play this year.

I thought Willie Fritz is their coach and he's not a 3opt guy.

Fritz only ran the tripleOp bc that was what his team was best suited for. He is not historically a tripop guy from what i remember.
