quote:So, Les would have to fall to a .500 season to get down to Saban's level?
And after our 6-6 2010, he will be at 9.5

I'd really like TigerTap's take on the situation.

No change. 51 Wins in 5 years. 10.2 wins per year, as oppossed to lesser coaches who averaged 9.6 per year & most who averaged less.
If we win 16 games over the next 2 years, he'll still be averaging over 9.5 wins per year.
What the shite do averages have to do with anything?
Even looking at the record for one year is misleading, as evidenced so perfectly by the travesty of 2009 LSU football. We won 9 games despite looking like crap 75% (at least) of the time. If you want to watch that nonsense indefinitely as long as he's winning 9 games then bully for you. I don't and neither do most fans.
I don't watch LSU so that I can brag about average wins per year. I watch it for enjoyment and b/c I love the school. If you enjoyed this year, then you have really low expectations.
