I always figured it would be Cumbie to leave first for another OC job since Meachum seems to be the more recognizable of the two. Move like this will likely raise both of their profiles tho
Smart move by Meachum turning down the Texas state job too. its better to be still in the spotlight at a major program as OC than it is to get lost in the shuffle as a lower tier head coach.

If Meacham is coming it will be a nice promotion too for Cumbie, getting to run the show and call plays on his own.

Absolutely. Not saying this means he's for sure coming to A&M, but it's definitely better to be a P5 OC, if you are a good OC that'll stand out, than it is to be a HC at an invisible school like SWT.

Now, I would also like to add that I trust this source very, very .much. But, I am still cautious with saying Meacham is 100% gone.
What I can say is Luper is not going anywhere as some reports have mentioned. If Meacham leaves, Luper would likely get promoted to Co-OC. He is already an Associate Head Coach.
Once I get something more concrete regarding Meacham, I'll pass it along.
