Why don't we take Herman and let Texas get Orgeron, see how much that writer likes that.
I'm pretty sure Orgeron said USC was the best job in college football when he thought he was up for that gig. He may be a lot of things but he's not stupid.

Yes I'm sure most of the nation's fans who have no interest in LSU's success do think that Orgeron should get the job. I wonder why they are all so dedicated to that view?

I think part of the sentiment for 247 and other beat writers is that nobody outside of LSU fans expected LSU to win the game against Alabama. When you pick a team to win and they do, it's not necessarily a bad knock on the other team or coach.
